Green Beans Far East - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. fresh green beans
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. vinegar
pepper to taste
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Cook beans until tender.
Add water chestnuts and heat through.
Cook onion in oleo until tender.
Add sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar and sour cream.
Heat through, but do not boil. Drain beans.
Put in serving dish and top with sour cream mix. Serves 6.
