Barbecue Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew, lean
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/3 c. tomato catsup
    1/4 c. vinegar, scant
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1/3 c. beef stock (you can use beef bouillon)
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. each curry powder, chili powder and paprika
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    pepper to taste
    onion flakes (optional)
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil; add other ingredients.
    Cover tightly and simmer about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
