Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. long grain rice
1/2 c. orzo
1/4 lb. (1 stick) margarine
4 c. chicken broth
salt to taste
Preparation

Melt margarine in pan, then add orzo and fry until slightly browned, stirring often.
Add rice and saute them together for a few minutes, stirring often. Then add boiling broth and salt, cover and cook on simmer for about 20 minutes.
When water is all absorbed and rice is soft, remove from heat, stir with fork then let rest, covered, for 15 minutes.
Serves 8.
