Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, unbeaten
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped bananas
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts, divided
cream cheese frosting
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and salad oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup nuts and bananas.
Spoon batter into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake until done. Spread frosting on cake and sprinkle with remaining nuts.
