Italian Cream Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, and beat well.
    Add flour, buttermilk and soda; mix well. Add coconut and nuts.
    Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
