Chocolate Swirl Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
2 c. buttermilk baking mix
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, melted
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease a square pan (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Stir together the coconut, nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon melted butter; set aside.
Mix the baking mix, 1/4 cup sugar, remaining melted butter, egg and milk.
Beat vigorously for 30 seconds; pour into pan.
Spoon chocolate over batter.
With knife, cut through batter several times for marbled effect.
Sprinkle coconut mixture evenly over top.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.
Makes 9 servings.
