Rush-Hour Simmer Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 bundles nested vermicelli pasta (5 1/2 oz.) (birds' nests)
2 (6 3/4 oz.) cans chunk-style chicken
1 c. peas
1 (8 oz.) can whole small carrots, drained
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed
Preparation

In a 10-inch skillet, arrange the pasta, undrained chicken, frozen peas, carrots and sliced onion.
Add the chicken broth and sprinkle with tarragon.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until noodles are just tender. Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
