Cheddar Squash Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thinly sliced, unpeeled zucchini, cooked and drained
    2 slightly beaten egg yolks
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bacon
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
Preparation
    Salt cooked squash.
    Mix egg yolks, sour cream and flour. Fold in egg whites.
    Layer half of the squash, egg mixture and cheese in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Crumble bacon; sprinkle on top.
    Repeat layers.
    Mix butter and crumbs; sprinkle over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
