Easy Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    1 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    1 egg
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine in large bowl first 4 ingredients; stir until melted. Cool until lukewarm.
    Sprinkle yeast in water; let set 5 to 10 minutes.
    Stir and add to cooled mixture.
    Beat egg and add to mixture.
    Add 2 cups flour; beat well with a spoon.
    Stir in rest of flour slowly.
    Put in bowl and store in refrigerator overnight.
