Divinity(Makes 8 Dozen Pieces) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo
3/4 c. water
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Place sugar, syrup and water in heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook without stirring to 255\u00b0. Remove from heat and pour in a constant fine stream into already beaten egg whites. Continue beating until mixture holds its shape and loses its gloss.
Add vanilla and nuts. Spread into a buttered 9 x 12-inch pan and cut into squares when firm.
