Cantonese Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth or 2 chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in water
    1 c. long grain rice
    1/4 c. oil
    1 beaten egg
    1 lb. cleaned shrimp
    cubed, cooked chicken
    cubed, cooked pork, beef or ham
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped green onions (tops, too)
    1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Bring broth to a boil.
    Add rice.
    Cover and cook until rice is done.
    In a large skillet, place the oil and egg; cut egg into strips as it cooks.
    Add shrimp, chicken and pork, about 3/4 cup altogether.
    Add cooked rice and season with salt, pepper, green onions and soy sauce.
    Blend together and cook over low heat for 7 to 8 minutes.
    Top with slivered almonds.
