Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can sliced pineapple
    1/4 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
    maraschino cherries (if desired)
    1 recipe Two-Egg Quick Cake or 1 pkg. yellow cake mix, fixed according to pkg. directions
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in electric skillet at 250\u00b0.
    Add brown sugar and mix thoroughly, spread evenly over bottom of skillet.
    Arrange pineapple and nuts over sugar mixture.
    Pour cake batter over fruit, spreading evenly.
    Cover skillet with vent open and bake 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out dry.
    Invert cake on serving plate while still warm.
