Dump Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Comstock pie filling (cherry)
1 can undrained crushed pineapple
1 box dry white or yellow cake mix
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 12-inch cake pan.
Empty the pie filling into pan. Add the pineapple.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pineapple. Cut the butter or margarine into slices and place on top of cake mix. Add the nuts.
Bake 40 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0 until light brown. Serve with whipped topping or ice cream.
