Arroz Con Grandules(Rice And Beans) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 green pepper
    1 pkg. Sazon Con Achiote
    1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can Green Pigeon peas
    4 c. white rice
    1 jar pimento, sliced
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. oil (preferably olive oil)
    salt to taste
    black pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop onion, garlic and green pepper into fine pieces in a large frying pan.
    Saute all ingredients with tomato and peas until onion is transparent.
    Add tomato sauce and saute, stirring mixture.
    Add water and rice.
    Cook on low heat until water evaporates.
    Serve topped with pimento.
    Serves 4 to 6.
