Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak or fillet of beef
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Slice meat in 1/2-inch strips.
    Dredge strips in flour, seasoned with salt, then set aside.
    Saute onion and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter for 5 minutes.
    Remove vegetables.
    Add 2 tablespoons more butter to skillet and add meat strips.
    Brown evenly on all sides.
    Return onion and mushrooms.
    Add garlic and blend in sour cream.
    Mix thoroughly and heat through on moderate heat.
    Serve with rice or noodles.
    Serves 4.
