Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. berries or fruit with about 1 c. juice
Preparation
    Set 1/2 cup sugar aside.
    Melt margarine in a shallow baking pan in oven.
    In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, flour and milk.
    Simmer fruit with juice in saucepan just until hot.
    Take baking pan with margarine out of oven; pour sugar/flour mixture over margarine.
    Spoon fruit and juice over batter.
    Do not stir. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over all.
    Place baking pan in a larger pan (to catch any drippings).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 30 minutes. Delicious with ice cream!
