Easter Basket Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 Duncan Hines cake mix (any flavor)
1 Duncan Hines frosting (vanilla)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. M&M's
2 c. flaked coconut
green food coloring
colored Easter eggs or Easter candy

Preparation

Cake:
Fix according to directions on box in 2 (8 or 9-inch) round layers.
Cool completely.
Using 1 layer, cut a circle in the center of cake, leaving a ring measuring 1 1/2 inches from the edge to the center.
Remove the center.
