Ingredients

1 c. ladyfinger crumbs
1/3 c. plus 2 tbsp. Kahlua liquor
finely chopped nuts, optional
8 oz. Mascarpone cheese
2/3 c. heavy whipping cream
1/4 c. cocoa powder
1 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. strong Espresso - completely cooled
fresh strawberries for garnish
Preparation

In mixing bowl, crumble ladyfingers and add Kahlua and nuts. Mix well.
In separate mixing bowl add Mascarpone and cream and begin to beat.
Add powdered sugar, cocoa, Espresso, and a bit more Kahlua. Beat until stiff peaks are formed.
In individual dessert bowls or champagne flutes, add a layer of crumbs.
Next using a pastry bag fit with a decorative tip, pipe the mixture onto the crumbs and make two repeated layers.
Top with fresh strawberries to garnish.
Serves 6 - 8.
