Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanuts, roasted
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Microwave on High 3 to 5 minutes until it is light brown.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add baking soda and stir gently until light and foamy.
    Pour onto lightly greased cookie sheet (spray).
    Cool 1/2 hour.
    Break into pieces.
