1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. Just Right cereal
1 c. flaked coconut
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugars, soda and salt.
Add shortening, egg, milk and vanilla.
Stir with wooden spoon until well mixed or mix with your hands.
Stir in cereal, coconut and chocolate pieces.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes.
