Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, diced
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. bread crumbs (2 to 3 slices, broken)
    1 can tomatoes
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a frypan, saute onion in margarine.
    Add brown sugar, salt, pepper and bread pieces.
    Add tomatoes; chop up some.
    Pour into a shallow baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
