Mom'S Best Cake(Pound Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 stick butter
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Beat in vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
