Cocoa-Cinnamon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped nuts or candied fruits or cherries (if desired)
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar gradually. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon together.
Mix in dry ingredients, alternating with small amounts of milk. Add vanilla.
Grease a 10-inch tube pan and flour lightly. Spoon in batter.
