Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
    2/3 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt; add to cream mixture alternating with sour cream or buttermilk.
    Blend in vanilla and nuts.
    Chill until dough is firm.
    Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Makes about 60 cookies.
    Cool and ice.
