Ingredients

vanilla wafers
sliced bananas
2/3 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
4 Tbsp. margarine, softened
4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. milk
Preparation

In a 13 x 9-inch pan, place vanilla wafers on bottom of pan and then slice bananas on top of vanilla wafers.
Keep alternating vanilla wafers and bananas until the pan is full.
