Lemon Cake Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. cold water
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. or more lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt thoroughly; add lemon juice and rind, then water, eggs and butter. Blend well and cook in double boiler until smooth. Stir constantly while boiling. Spread on white cake layers (5 or 6 thin layers).
