Coffee Cake Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside. Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Cut in shortening to resemble coarse crumbs. Combine egg and milk; add all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Line muffin tins with paper cups. Spoon in small amount of batter. Top with layer of nut mixture. Repeat layers, filling pans 2/3 full. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
