Fresh Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fresh broccoli
    1/2 lb. bacon
    3 green onions, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 ribs celery, chopped fine
    2 medium fresh tomatoes, diced small
    Dukes mayonnaise
Preparation
    Clean and remove outside skin of broccoli stems.
    Boil in salted water until firm-tender (about 7 minutes).
    Rinse under cold water until cooled; let drain well.
    Cut bacon into thin strips and saute until crisp; drain and cool.
    Dice celery and green onions fine.
    Dice tomatoes small.
    Cut broccoli in bite size; mix with celery, onions and bacon.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add enough mayonnaise to coat well.
    Make a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate to blend flavors.
