Budget Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef round steak, cut in thin slices
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/4 c. beef broth or water
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sour cream
    3 c. hot cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with seasonings. Brown in butter. Stir in soup and add 1 cup broth. Cover and simmer 30 minutes to 1 hour. Add onions; cook 10 more minutes. Blend remaining broth and flour; stir into meat mixture. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add sour cream. Heat through but do not boil. Serve over rice or noodles.
