Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 layer) cake mix
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 or 3 bananas
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed.
    Break cake into pieces (after cooled) into punch bowl.
    Prepare vanilla pudding and pour over cake in bowl.
    Layer pineapple, cherry pie filling and bananas. Cover with Cool Whip and top with pecans and cherries.
