Mrs. Mosser'S Breakfast Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening (part butter)
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar and baking powder.
    Add shortening, milk, unbeaten egg and vanilla, one at a time.
    Beat all ingredients well for 2 minutes.
    Use greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
