Skier'S Chili(Makes A Lot And Freezes Well) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    1 c. green pepper, diced
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 tsp. salt
    2 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    3 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
Preparation
    In large pot, saute beef with green pepper, onion and garlic until beef is browned.
    Add rest of ingredients, except kidney beans; simmer, covered, about 1 hour.
    Stir in beans; simmer 10 to 15 minutes longer.
