Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
    1 thinly sliced celery
    1 (8 oz.) can thinly sliced water chestnuts
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. raw frozen peas
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    3 chopped eggs (optional)
    1/2 to 3/4 lb. crumbled bacon
Preparation
    Shred
    a
    head\tof
    lettuce
    in a large shallow bowl or glass baking
    dish.
    Layer
    each\tof
    the following in order: onions, celery,
    water chestnuts and peas.\tSpread mayonnaise over all. Sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt and garlic powder.
    Chill overnight (24 hours).
