Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dry stale bread
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Soak bread in milk for 15 minutes.
    Stir in butter and seasonings.
    Beat eggs and add, stirring in gently, but thoroughly.
    Pour into buttered baking dish; bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
