Old-Fashioned Custard Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    6 eggs
    4 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation
    Put milk on medium heat in heavy pot.
    Do not stir.
    Let it heat until it makes a film.
    Beat eggs, cornstarch and sugar until real frothy, then add to milk.
    Stir constantly until the consistency of a cream sauce.
    Remove from fire and add remaining ingredients.
    Let cool, then put into ice cream freezer.
