Crystal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 scant tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix in order given (don't overbeat).
    Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch glass pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 375\u00b0 (don't overcook). Dough will be very stiff.
    Spread in pan as best you can, but don't worry about full coverage.
