Custard(The Kind You Drink - And Warm Is Best!) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. milk (2% or whole - let your conscious guide)
5 eggs, beaten separately
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
Preparation

In double boiler, with water in bottom half and milk in the top container, heat until milk is very hot.
Mix sugar with yellow of eggs and stir into hot milk.
Beat whites and after custard has cooked 15 or 20 minutes, stir in whites.
Add vanilla.
Makes about 10 cups.
Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
