Barbecue Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef roast
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. oil
    2 c. sliced onions
    3/4 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cut roast into 2 to 3-inch pieces.
    Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge meat and brown in oil in frying pan.
    Remove meat from pan; add the remaining flour mixture to drippings.
    Blend until smooth.
    Return meat to frying pan; cover with onions.
    Pour the remaining ingredients over meat and onions.
    Cover; simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Great with rice or mashed potatoes.
