Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    3 3/4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 (6 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 stick margarine, softened
    2 c. confectioners sugar

Preparation
    Mix sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and the 1/2 jar cherries.
    Bake 2 hours at 275\u00b0 in preheated oven.
