Chicken Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chicken breast, cut in 1/4 inch strips
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. mushrooms, diced
1/2 c. chopped onion, minced
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 1/4 c. chicken stock or canned chicken broth
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. or more cooking sherry
Preparation

Brown chicken and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter.
Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes.
Remove to bowl; add 2 tablespoons butter to pan.
Add flour, paste and stock.
Cook until thickened.
Return meat and mushrooms to pan.
Add sour cream and sherry.
Serve over rice or noodles.
Can also use turkey or beef.
