Frozen Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. unpeeled, sliced cucumbers
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar (white)
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onions.
    Mix thoroughly in a large bowl.
    Let stand at least 2 hours, then drain.
    Meanwhile, boil sugar, vinegar and celery seed.
    Cool.
    Pour in cucumbers and onions.
    Put this mixture in containers.
    Cover and freeze.
