Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. Raisin Bran (Kellogg's)
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Set aside.
    Measure bran and milk into bowl.
    Stir to combine.
    Let stand 1 to 2 minutes or until cereal is softened.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Beat well.
    Add dry ingredients to cereal mixture. Stir only until combined.
    Portion batter evenly into paper lined muffin pan (or greased muffin pan).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
