Yummy "Dinosaur" Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs
    1/2 c. shoyu
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. sherry
    ginger and garlic
Preparation
    Put ribs in a pot of cold water and boil.
    Simmer until tender, about 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Combine all other ingredients and marinate the ribs for at least 1 hour.
    Broil.
