Pear Conserve - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium-size pears
    1 orange (use peel too)
    2 c. raisins
    2 lemons
    5 c. sugar
    walnuts
    1 (14 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
    1 (3 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Chop all ingredients, except maraschino cherries.
    Blend well, cook until thick, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    Add cherries near end of cooking time.
    Pour into jars and seal.
