Best Ever Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    4 c. water
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can creamed corn
    1 can cream of celery soup
Preparation
    Brown bacon lightly; add onion.
    Cook until tender and lightly browned.
    Add potatoes and water.
    Cook until tender (1/2 hour). Add corn.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add soups; bring to a boil, stirring until well blended.
    Before serving, heat milk and add to the mixture.
