Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 lb. candied cherries
    1/4 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. chopped pecans
    1 lb. white raisins
    4 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and add sugar gradually.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Sift flour and baking powder together.
    Dust fruit and nuts with part of it.
    Add extract and then fold in the flour.
    Add nuts and fruits last.
    Bake in loaf pans in slow oven at 250\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
