Potato-Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Romano cheese
    2 beaten eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    bread crumbs
    Mozzarella, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Boil potatoes, with jackets, until tender; peel and mash, adding butter, milk, grated cheese, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Whisk until light and creamy.
    Sprinkle an 8-inch buttered pie plate with breadcrumbs.
    Arrange half the potato mixture in a layer and cover completely with Mozzarella slices.
    Put the remaining potatoes on next, sprinkle them with breadcrumbs and dot with butter.
    Bake until the top is golden brown and crusty.
