Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines)
    1 large box vanilla instant pudding
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 large can crushed pineapple (not drained)
    1 (16 to 24 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake according to box directions.
    Let cool.
    Prepare pudding according to package directions.
    Crumble 1/2 of cake in punch bowl.
    Layer half of pudding and half of pineapple.
    Place half of cherry filling over all.
    Be sure it is spread thicker on the edges.
    Layer half of Cool Whip.
    Repeat as before on second layer.
    Refrigerate overnight.
