Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
2 Tbsp. hot water
1 1/4 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped pecans
4 egg whites, beaten until stiff
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in order except nuts and egg whites. Beat well.
Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into greased tube pan or bake in two loaf pans or one in a 9 x 12-inch oblong pan.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or a few minutes longer.
Let cool in pan before turning out on plate. Cake is moist and good!
