Sweet And Sour Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    4 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    cucumbers
    garlic
    dill
Preparation
    Mix
    first four ingredients in a large pot and bring to boil. Pour
    boiling
    brine
    into jars, packed with cucumbers, garlic and
    dill.
    Seal
    jars
    and set in a large canning pot with
    hot water
    and
    let
    boil until cucumbers change color. Take
    out
    of pot,
    tighten jar lids and let cool.
    Should be ready
    to
    eat in approximately 4 weeks.
    This is enough brine for approximately 3 quarts.
